Epl Champions but no medal.

Imagine winning the Premier League trophy but having no medal to show for it?

Up to six Liverpool players could miss out on the medals despite playing an integral part in their title-winning season.

Only 40 silver medals will be provided to the Anfield giants with some tough decisions on the horizon. Any player who has made at least five Premier League appearances during 2024/25 will be automatically entitled to one.

Liverpool have 21 members of their squad who currently fit that criteria, while Federico Chiesa is one game short having made four substitute appearances – and he still has time to earn enough appearances to get a medal. For now, that leaves 19 medals for the club to dish out to other squad members and staff if desired.

Additional medals can be sought. They require the consent of the Premier League Board however, and will only be granted if more than 39 players have fulfilled the five Premier League appearances criteria.

Vitezslav Jaros and Jayden Danns are the only other players to have made outings in the top-flight this season. With just one substitute appearance each they will not automatically qualify.
