Martin Odegaard Message

Captain Martin Odegaard has encouraged his Arsenal teammates to support each other and keep trying after a difficult loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Arsenal was eliminated from the tournament after losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena, due to a goal from Joshua Kimmich. This defeat followed a recent loss in the Premier League, where Arsenal was beaten 2-0 at home by Aston Villa. This has harmed their chances of winning the title, leaving them two points behind the leaders, Manchester City. On his Instagram, Odegaard shared a message saying, “Tough one to take for all of us…But we still have something beautiful to fight for. Let’s lift each other up and we go again. Thanks for all the messages and all your support. Means a lot.” Manager Mikel Arteta agreed with Odegaard and also highlighted the positive possibilities in the upcoming Premier League games.

Arteta said, “What we have ahead is beautiful. Six games and we are two points behind City. A busy schedule for everybody. We have to go through the pain tonight, and tomorrow get up, come with the same attitude that we came here and hopefully beat Wolves.” Arsenal has some challenging games left, including two London derbies against Chelsea and Tottenham, and games against Bournemouth and Everton. They will also travel to Old Trafford to play Manchester United on May 12.
